Dr. Kyle Nix, D.C. is the owner of Twin City Chiropractic in Monroe where he has served northeast Louisiana since 2022. Dr. Nix and his wife, Shannon, moved back to Monroe in 2018. Together, they have three children, Alyssa, Alexandra, & Matthew.
Dr. Nix graduated from Parker University with his doctorate of chiropractic in 2012 and has practiced in offices in Texas and Louisiana.
He was born and raised in Oak Grove, LA. He obtained his bachelor’s degree in kinesiology from LA Tech University & his master’s degree in exercise science from UL-Monroe. In 2001, he became a certified athletic trainer through the National Athletic Trainers’ Association and licensed athletic trainer through the state of Louisiana.
He worked for the next 8 years as an athletic trainer for Glenwood Sportscare and the Ouachita Parish School Board at Ouachita Christian School, West Monroe HS, & Richwood HS. With a desire to do more for athletes and active individuals, he and his family moved in 2009 to Dallas where he began his pursuit of a doctorate in chiropractic at Parker University. He graduated in 2012 and practiced for 6 years in the DFW area. He served as the team chiropractor for the University of Texas at Arlington athletics from 2013-2015. He is currently the team chiropractor for West Monroe High School football, girls soccer, & baseball teams.
Dr. Nix is skilled in full spine adjusting, spinal rehab with Chiropractic Biophysics, extremity adjusting, and myofascial release. He is also certified as a Corrective Exercise Specialist through the National Academy of Sports Medicine and in the Functional Movement Screen by Functional Movement Systems. In the office he utilizes all of these techniques plus the Normatec compression system and a deep tissue laser to help his patients feel better & perform better.
